B & W photography can set a mode that color cannot. I studied the zone system developed by Ansel Adams and mastered the art of Black and White photography. There have been some new films manufactured that can be processed in color chemistry which allows a person to have their negatives developed in one half an hour, and prints in a hour without going into a wet dark room with smelly chemicals. I fell in love with Black and White photography as I did with Kodachrome film.
