The first battle of the Civil War aka The Battle between the States was re-enacted in Manassas Virginia at Bull Run Creek on 23rd of July 2011 with over 10,000 participants.

Battle of Bull Run - United States Marines
The Battle of Bull Run was the first land battle of the United States Marines. They were the few troops who were in uniform. During the Civil War the Marines wore a Navy blue jacket with white trousers and white straps. The Marines came from the 8th & I barracks in Washington, DC.
This is the reenactment of the 150th anniversary of the First Battle of Bull Run in Manassas, Virginia.
