It consists of 2 fences with a safety service road in between. There is no barbed wire, and it is intended to make people who want to enter the U.S. to go to the gates, show identification, and enter properly. Besides the obvious Mexicans, persons from almost every country have been caught trying to enter here. For example people from Central and South America, China, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, and Africa have been detained here trying to enter illegally.
